Found at Itatiaia National Park, in Mantiqueira Mountains in state of Rio de Janeiro in southeastern Brazil on 25.XI.2019. Found in the upper part of park. Nonacris (or close relation) in Stratiomyidae?

According to Norm Woodley, it resembles Chilean species described in Nonacris that probably belong to a different genus. Chiromyzinae of South America need revision. |
