Second post (first : https://diptera.i...ost_473967

Found in a alkalin marsh (by Malaise trap - 04/07/2024).
- notopleural lobes yellow/orange
- first and second antennal segment orange
- basal callus brown
- orange on tergite 1-3 with an extension on tergite 4
- black hairs on tergite 2-3
- subgenital plate with basal notch

With light notopleural lobes, bimaculata is exclude, distinguenda doesn't have black hairs on tergite 2-3 (and a different subgenital plate) and muehlfeldi have the two first antennal segment grey and not orange.

So for me : solstitialis too

Weird. Except for the first antennal segment, this is distinguenda all over.

Are youx very sure you got the right foto for the antenna ?

No doubt this is the same specimen in all photos.
We have too more orange on tergite for solstitialis ?
Subgenital plate doesn't match for distinguenda no ?

Subgenital plate is shown slightly asymmetrical, so difficult to judge, but I guess you are right.
Should be solstitialis. They tend to be more yellow to the south (= ciureai Seguy)

The convex base of the subgenital plate is not a good criteria for solstitialis ?
The cerci are not enough visible to compare with distinguenda.

Cercus is less rounded than in distinguenda.
Base of furca, if this feature could be use (and not variable), different from distinguenda's one.
